On Saturday September 29 from 5-7:30 pm Teachers for Social Justice and Chicagotra will co-sponsor an event featuring the new documentary by Jill Friedberg, Un Poquito de Tanta Verdad.

Jill has spent years working in solidarity and documenting both the teachers union movement in Mexico (especially in Oaxaca) and the recent popular movement in Oaxaca by both teachers and community members for the resignation of the state's governor and a move toward a more democratic governance. Her film Granito de Arena (Grain of Sand) has been viewed widely throughout Mexico, the US and beyond. (More info on the new film below)
